Machine Learning for Prediction of Sudden Cardiac Death in Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy

Abstract

We developed a gradient-boosted ML model for predicting sudden cardiac death risk in HCM patients using ECG features, cardiac MRI, and genetic markers from 3,450 patients. Our model outperformed the ESC HCM Risk-SCD calculator.
